madhatter was best with a 3/1 winner which was welcome after so many second places recently, still in the bottom five but a much improved position.
Shoemaker landed a 2/1 to move eight places up to 18th.
Fortismere went up one place to fourth courtesy of an 11/8 shot, and salmon spray made it three on the trot with an 11/10 and is now up to ninth.
