rob22 was best with a 6/1 that gets him into seventh 2.48 behind fifth place.
madhatter found a 9/2 shot that puts him back into profit and up six to ninth place.
raspberrybottom next with a 9/2 that increases his chances of escape from the bottom five considerably.
armpits found a 4/1 that dead-heated which puts him on the brink of leaving the bottom five, majorupshotbagley scored with a 7/2 which means that the relegation battle is tight this month. Another winner at these kind of prices that we've seen today could mean the difference for all five.
In mid-table Fortismere won with a 2/1 and jumped two places.
Up at the top The Sawyer got back to winning ways with a 5/4 and has a 3.43 cushion going into the final day.

TBH swifty, I think reserves applies to people posting their own reserve selection in case of a non-runner, rather than an official on-course reserve. That as I recall was its original intention.

Yes I've been thinking about that since I posted. But these Irish reserves are mostly non-runners in waiting so if someone has used up their rest days it's a more or less certain way of getting a non-runner.
However, the rule I pointed out is part of the final day rules and we dont allow reserves (in your sense) or unnamed horses in the day to day rules so why is it there in the final day rules?
On balance I think I'll settle it as a non-runner as it obviously wasn't a try on.

You make a good point swifty. We should look into that.
