Boom! Billposter lands a basherooni and three-quarters with Andaleep tt a hulking 18/1! He shot straight to second. Had our leader not won today it would have left him a tantalising 14p off the top.

As it was the redoubtable Swift-Tuttle landed a tasty 5/2 to keep his distance.

One other score, an odds-on that nudged Flemski up to 11th.
