Of course our champion is Longshot Louie. After yesterday's 50/1 humdinger, and now £25 to the good, how could he not be? That's what I call going out with a bang! We'll keep quiet about the strike rate.  Actually, I'll tell you how it could not have been: if second-placed top2rated had been a good boy and gone to church like our Louie clearly did instead of spending his Sundays napping nags. In terms of returns, he did better, banging in a 33/1 and a 20/1. But while he earned £3 more, he's ended up £1 behind because of those Sundays. Still, magnifico effort. In third is my stablemate Treesome, an odds-on hat-trick winner today - the day's only score. Second-highest strike rate includes a fulsome 12/1 winner. In fourth is an old hand, Kohoutek from the swifty stable, whose very handsome profit of £11 completes the black numbers. His top score was a 14/1 early doors.  Top marksman was actually sageform in fifth with a near 35% strike rate. Some decent scores but not quite enough to get into profit. Our final transportee, courtesy of a retirement upstairs, is new boy gotitwrong, who got it right enough times to sneak through, his scores including a 10/1 and 9/1. Hard luck the rest but it was quite a spirited competition in which you all played your part - yes, even you lmlac! - so many thanks. And thanks too as always for your kind messages.
