My selection is win on Caroline Jetstream 3.35 Cork. Good luck all. |

Regarding Mr_S selection at abandoned Fairyhouse. It must be replaced by original race time, or Saturday nr rules automatically put it on nearest race after fav, which today would be 2.52 Carlisle, unless there's some French race I've missed lol.
So actually you have until 2.52 to post replacement. |
|
By:
Just re-read my rules and above is not strictly true, as I've said if a meeting is abandoned after 3pm deadline then that applies, but I think it should apply to all of Saturday, just like all non-runners.

By:
Lets give Mr Spreadsheet until 14.30 (he's restricted by a lengthy tie difference) if not, could someone post a wildcard

Don't normally go for short prices but I thought that should have been a 11/8 / 6/4 shot. It gives us a nice little start to the round.
Good luck everyone with your picks this week. |

Well done custardcream64 and like you say nice price to start the week

|

Good evening All,
Thanks werbie, a pity i couldn't post Kihavah yesterday, that would have made a difference, but having 3 selections in a race is a waste. WD custardcream, a good start to this round, won easily. As for the odds, the way the competition is structured with the stake counting with profit, it's not a problem, even with a shade of odds-on. Good luck to all this week. |

Good luck everyone for the coming week. |

Good morning All,
WD China Castle yesterday and Custard Cream earlier in the week, the points have given us a chance of 3rd spot, even if we don't get near the front 2 in round 2. I generally leave my selections until the Saturday as i have far more time on my hands, but i didn't fancy much at all yesterday. Jonbon was too short, and lost anyway, one i backed was Whistlejacket who i expected to be odds-on and could have posted, but easy to say after the event. My selection simply not good enough. Good luck to all this week, onwards and upwards. I'm in London at the moment and off to Dublin tomorrow morning with a couple of posters for Naas and Punchestown on Tuesday. |

Well done custardcream and china castle

The e-w thieves had a 20/1 winner yesterday and are 200pts clear of us. We have a choice of going for some big prices to try and close the gap or be a bit more conservative and aim for second place.
|
|
By:
Well played china and custard keeping us in touch with the rest at least. 200pts gap, those thieves are banging them in lately.
|
|
By:
200+ pts is a mountain to make up and the EW team will almost certainly win this round, but they are 15 pts behind us in the overall table. Racing Demons are also below in this round, at least today. I think we should concentrate on finishing in one of the placings, but up to the individual of course.
Good luck all. |
