Plenty to choose from this week. Decided to go with the one I thought was my best at the start of the week.

Not easy. My winning record at the Cheltenham Festival is probably in excess of 80%, but it's less than half of that at Royal Ascot. One of the problems is maybe getting involved in too many races. Trying to avoid that this year. Another problem is the ground. There is a massive clamour for quick ground, but I find it very hard to differentiate between those who cope with good ground and those who can also handle good to firm. The difference between good and soft is far easier. The draw and the jocks are always an issue.

Lots of Joseph O'Brien's have been punted. That's indicative of the kind of stable he runs. It's a million miles from his dad.

Anyway I backed Nurburgring at 25/1 a few days ago, and I am sticking with him.

Thanks, it sums up my own season as well. Too many crossbars. Had it won it would have given us more total points than we had got in any weeks. Just to add insult to injury the only other ante-post bet I had in the race was Comfort Zone. Not an appropriate name at this moment.
