Just the one upset, of which more later. But a huge well done to our very profitable champion and renowned settler of this parish, swift-tuttle. He celebrates an immediate return upstairs with a massive kitty of £26. Yes, he had only one winner all month, but I love humdingers as much as anyone and his was a magnificent specimen at 50/1. Big cheer for swifty.
Another making a swift return to the biggish time is our second-placed hero Shoemaker with eight chunky scores, all but two 6/1 or more. That's pickin' 'em! Comfy profit of £23 to show for it. Bootiful.
Great to see majorbloodnock go up from third after such a spirited month. He emerged as the best striker, with a strike rate of nearly 46%, topped with a mid-month 17/2.
In fourth is our last-day surprise package, suffolkpunch, who bagged The Glen Rovers at 13/2, the day's only winner, to streak into fourth. Great effort punchy.

And finally Billposter gets a deserved boost, holding onto fifth with five chunky winners.
Hard luck to Pedro39a, bumped down to sixth by our East Anglian winner. Say it after me, Pedro: "I'll be back!"
Some juicy profits there, quite unusual by recent standards, and in the black down to seventh. I'm going to call a good month. Thanks to all who battled it out. No competition without you and I hope you'll honour us with another month's napping.

Many thanks Reged for a superb job keeping the books and tabulating everything, without you and other division managers where would we be? Well done Sir Ed.
