Went a full length frontal purler two weeks ago cant believe I got away with it but seen every raised pavement since as a Beechers Brook ![]() ![]() Plenty of stable confidence behind you Jimnast ![]() |

Unlucky jimnast looked to have injured herself at some point there

Unlucky today Jimnast a weird enough day today!!!
|
|
By:
Vet found nothing wrong with the horse stewpot like you I presumed something was wrong, completely agree dessie a weird day yesterday I left feeling very underwhelmed,I’m not someone who blames jockeys but I wonder if some of them are a bit to fired up for this meeting.hopefully on Friday the magnificent chaser can win the gold cup ,to short for me but I’ll be cheering him on as I did state man yesterday without a bet in the race I was hoping he won due to the amount of disrespect he’s be shown by the experts

I think maybe your selection didn't like better ground, it was withdrawn earlier in career from a run on good and if they listened to the clerk of the course on the eve he said it was good to soft, soft in places and he didn't expect much change over the week. As it was the first race of the meeting was it a case of suck it and see? Based on William Munnys great run surely this run can be dismissed unless they decide to run the horse on decent ground again!! I wonder whether Majborough is found to have a back problem the way it failed on several occasions to get its back legs over the fences? What a brave horse though and such a shame couldn't quite get back up.

Unlucky Jimnast, none of the stables runners ran well. We always expect De Bromhead to come good at Chelt. But maybe they are still not right

Not a fan of anything Friday or Sat so playing tomorrow, Feet Of A Dancer in the Pertemps.
|
|
By:
Maybe I should be looking at Friday & Saturday Hilly
I also like the selection a value bet hope the price holds |
|
By:
Ran well enough without ever looking likely to win, only tiny so kept wide and towards rear, plugged on steadily to place.
|
|
By:
I thought ran a lot better than that Hilly
agree because only small so kept out wide would have liked to have seen more prominent like last time good selection in tough race to get us off the mark |

Gone for Walking On Air
5ew in the Chelt 5.20, chaps. |

Well Done Hilly, points make prizes!
Unlucky Raspberry its not been easy to get near a place these last three days at Chelters, let alone a winner! |
|
By:
Early days Raspberry are the toughest, regulars can verify

Not too many obvious chances out there at present, maybe Im looking in the wrong haystack

Id like to do my bet in the Albert Bartlett Im sure nobody else is.
|
|
By:
I have a great stat that works in the AB to narrow the field. Left me with 5 runners but I like Cobden on this.

Good morning team hope you all enjoyed Cheltenham foxy will post her selection later
|
|
By:
Jimnast I can't say I enjoyed Cheltenham for obvious reasons ( getting gubbed by that 100/1 debutant!) .The Mullins dominance just continues to grow and I know his multiple entries keep up the field numbers but frankly its getting boring although I doubt theres anyone has the quality in numbers to do what he does and compete with him. Anyway thats my sour grapes eaten.....
Foxy.....its been a poor week thus far for us but no need to try and move mountains (any points would be brill!). First of two weeks so hopefully we can pull back any deficit next week. Onwards and upwards! Stewpot enjoy your break!! |
|
By:

Good afternoon dessie
I still enjoyed the festival but I’ve enjoyed others much more ,the champion hurdle was an all round disappointment from the minute it became clear there was going to be one missing ,never had any financial interest in the race but was cheering for state man as I was fed up with the so called experts been so disrespectful about his chances. The race of the week by a million miles was the old sun alliance hurdle no excuses just 3 very good horses battling it out ,they will probably go separate ways next year but all 3 will be at the top table so long as they stay healthy. Couldn’t get excited about the gold cup when the winner has been given 3 easy runs this season and no questions asked. No problem with the triumph hurdle winner many have been complaining that the flat horses go on the aw or race abroad nowadays Thankfully they got rid of the turners novice chase 5 in the arkle 7 in the sun alliance |

Hi Jimnast, its difficult not to enjoy Cheltenham and Aintree with all the thrills and spills and atmosphere but this one felt "different" to me.
Needless delays by the starter were a pain. Can't wait for Doncaster and the flat in full swing personally!! Good Luck to anybody making a selection today ![]() |
