pcgoody was today's thin blue line and beat his way up 13 places into 10th with a sudsy 4/1 winning nap ,

NB was swift-tuttle who leapt 11 places from the edge of the pit into 14th with a whispery 7/2 success.

Elsewhere Kohoutek eased 3 places nearer safety with a 2/1 winner,

Reged improved 5 places into 9th with a 6/4 number and

Lieutenant Pigeon held on to 3rd with a 5/4 chance while,

china castle, Limpus and old applejack all landed odds-on shots.

bluebook saw his 25/1 attempt just touch off into second by the tiniest of margins. Definitely suffering there.
