No sudden shocks at the end. Instead, as sadly seems to have become the norm these days, everyone drew a blank.
So Shanelee1966 clung on to top spot to end as a very worthy champion.
It'll be great to see him sparring with them upstairs again. He only had three winners, but the first was a 14/1, followed two days later by a bonkbusting 25/1, with a nice 5/1 top-up to keep things shipshape a week ago. VWD shaney!
In the end the swifty stable all got promoted - an extra slot this month because of a retirement upstairs. But they didn't quite have it in them to grab the top spot, even though our esteemed No 2 Hale-Bopp was less than £2 away. Boppy had double shane's number of winners but the biggest were 11/1 and 10/1 - hugely worthy scores but just missing the mark.
It was always going to be a big ask for Kohoutek, who ended in third, but he just couldn't follow the 14/1 biggie of a week ago that put him in contention.
In fourth is comp veteran raspberrybottom, who had just two scores, one of them a fine 16/1.
Next up is Anzio with the month's highest strike rate of just under 41%. 
And standing firm in the extra sixth slot is swift-tuttle himself, who started the month full of promise, topping a flurry of wins with a 6/1, but dried up in the second half.
Well done to you guys and hard luck those who didn't make it. Still, there's always next month to turn things around. Many thanks to everyone who took part. It was, I think, a small but perfectly formed division.
