I'll say a bit more tomorrow - it's been a busy day! But just want to congratulate Thai Basil on the last-minute winner that earned a place in the sun!

Pretty much as you were on the final day, with one notable exception. It's good to see four newcomers make such an instant success of their short time here.
Top congrats to the first of them, our latest champion GEORGE.B, who had some great scores, most notably a 12/1 mid-month. And it's great to see him followed in second by hulk23, who came pretty close the previous month. Most of his good work came in the first half, enough to cover for a luckless last few days.
Then come three more newbies: persian war in third with such a regular crop of small but perfectly formed winners that he tops the strike rate stats at 55%; Oakley in fourth boasting a 12/1 top score 
; and Thai Basil, sneaking in to fifth with the only winner on the day, Grandads Cottage at 7/2.
Last to go up, courtesy of the extra slot, is NottinghamRambler, making a speedy return upstairs. He only had a couple of winners but one was a 14/1. Nuf said.
Not the greatest of months, all told, but thanks to everyone for making it a true battle of wits. Hope to see you all back and refreshed for a new tussle, and as always thanks for all your messages.

Thank you Reged, and I'm liking the idea of being a "newbie", but alas I'm actually an oldie, having taking part previously for a few years, including in 2015, when if you look far enough down the list of previous premiership winners, you will see my name in August of that year.
