Well, this is a bit of a month, eh? I've hardly got anyone left! Seriously folks, I need help. If you can think of anyone you can jog to join us , please do so.
Anyway, a big well done to our latest champion, Bumpertojumper, who effectively locked it in with a 22/1 on day four and an 11/1 five days ago. That's the way to nap'em!
top2rated in second is another to benefit from two crackers, an 18/1 and 11/1 inside the first two weeks! Great to see a comp vereran back to cracking form.
I'm particularly pleased to see Flemenstar take third, even though he was a naughty boy today (along with dukeofpuke) in forgetting to check his selection was not already taken! Flem's a clear battler and has been regularly knocking them in through the month.
I'll also mention the next three to go up, if only to illustrate that winning with shorties is harder work than it might seem, but can produce rewards. A particular well done to one of our latest recruits, Rambling Bear, who knocked in another odds-on today to cap a div-beating 79% strike rate. Not often we see it go that high! dukeofpuke in fifth hit 63% and another newbie, Caffrey The Cat, another shortie winner today, made 50%.
Three other winners today to mention: madhatter with Rory The Cat (any relation Caffers?) at 7/2 nudging him up to seventh,
GLASGOWCALLING with an odds-on but down to eighth, and cobs101, up to 15th but just missing out with Gyllen at 9/2 (got it right this time). When he posted it, the nag was apparently 20/1, much more than enough to get him in the transportation zone. Obviously others had spotted what he did and in the end he just missed out. Doubly sad because he just missed out last month as well. 
Third time lucky, cobsy mate.
So, I wish all those going up the very best of luck and implore those few remaining not to leave us. We need you, and anyone else you can persuade to join us. Think of it this way. It'll be much easier bagging promotion next month!

Can you clarify if my selection was invalid or an oversight i didnt see that my 1st pick was taken but soon realised and changed i think within the time

duke, sorry mate, maybe I should have cut you some slack. If you'd have spelt out the reason for the replacement I'd have thought about it, but in the 'heat' of the moment - I was v busy - I just went with the rules. The only replacements allowed on the final day are for non-runners.
