Sugar - the last  day 14/1  and 11/1 winners stopped
me being promoted  and have thwarted my plan !!

What a way to finish the month: two bonkeroonis on the last day tearing the promotion places apart and, as scissors points out, thwarting his cunning plan despite him earning 4/1 on Gincident. Real hard luck snippy. I was rooting for you!

But most important, a big well done to our champion, the indefatigable undecided, for fighting back to seize the summit at the last with Hiya Maite  at 5/1. What a month, essentially decided (note deliberate use of that word) by a triple-hitter in the first half - 14/1, 16/1 and 11/1. Superbulous!

In second, competition stalwart hong kong fooey put up a grand fight but slipped at the last. His success was down to the second half with a 17/2 headline score. Both he and our champion end up on more than £20 profit.

Third is the first shocker of the day: top2rated barging in with his only winner of the month, The Thin Blue Line  at a basheronious 14/1 - last day, last race! That grabbed him third place on an 8% strike rate!

In fourth we have GLASGOWCALLING with a relatively high strike rate of 30% topped with a 7/1 mid-month. And in fifth we have the day's other missile launcher, Inside The Box, striking with Fairmac  at 11/1 to zoom up to transportation with the second lowest strike rate of the month of 7%. His only other winner was an 18/1 three days ago.

Well done to to the two others going up courtesy of resignations on high: stewarts rise, a mid-month 15/2 being his highlight, and nawshan, another half-way big -hitter with an 11/1.

It was a month of low strike rates: top man was Moose at 38%, who ended in tenth. A shout-out to dukeofpuke for his evens winner yesterday. And many thanks for your kind messages.
