Wow guys what can I say, a full turnout without any need of enticements financial or otherwise
Nice to see so many of you willing to blow the dust off those form books yet again
Although I can sense that the dust/fog is now getting ever deeper/thicker
Maybe guessing the encouraging enthusiasm shown is because we have nothing to prove,
been there done that, cant take that away – its Just a bit of Fun for us from hereon in

Simply pick one trier a week Win or E.W & post on Undecideds  Team Tipster selection Topic and on here would help
please but dont forget cut off is 3pm Saturday, New weeks start ..... first race Sundays

I am sure our temporary side-lined box walker Dessie will be popping in with a few words of encouragement from time to time

Quite a bucket list for starters, was meeting me anywhere on that list, if it was please dont tell me how far down it was Laugh Laugh
I am sure once they saw your name on the Team-sheet they went out to ensure a full Team on theirs Devil
Nice to see you back in the swing, are you still supporting the footy

Hilly
I am sure that wasnt the problem, after talking to a couple of them yesterday morning, it sounded as though they did a significant update (or 2) earlier this week
then realised an old problem fix had not been included, so they then had to do a further update yesterday lunchtime
I had tried 4 different browsers with & without blockers, on four different devices, emptying cookies & caches
I agree blockers etc can stop or prevent it performing as expected

What is really annoying about the hiccup is they dont announce they are doing any software upgrades (that I am aware of Blush)
They dont set up a specific status on its success or otherwise
They dont set up a new email contact route in to quickly identify any issues
Mushroom Information Consultancy maintain the software (taking the MIC) Wink
But they do have chatty friendly keyboard staff Mischief

Sorry Ud but I was totally unaware of any historic poaching, I can easily but it down to my current memory lapses
I have to keep last seasons topic live just to remember last seasons Team never mind other Teams
I just got word from Ireland that JP McMan's R&R farm was also treating more than horses, people making week end therapy visits with a special carrot juice on their menu
Special benefits of beta-carotene greatly helps identify light from dark, & now wood from trees
Explains why jimnast excels at the evening meetings of Dundalk & Wolverhampton  WinkCool

Lucky 15 for tonight taking a chance with a couple of inexperienced jockeys

600 dancing tango

630 turf range

800 jered maddox (around 8 with chances so taking the safe option)

830 Havana notion

Wouldn’t be at all confident of any of these but an enjoyable night in store

It’s that time of year again …can’t wait…

Paddy And Mick At The Cheltenham Festival

It’s like Christmas and your birthday
All rolled into one
The atmosphere at Prestbury Park
Is second to none

Heading for the terminal
For the ferries and the flights
Will the last man leaving Ireland
Please turn out the lights

Mick Moloney and Paddy Murphy
At their usual B & B
They’ve never missed a Gold Cup
Since Bregawn in Eighty Three

Mick spills a yarn ‘bout his youthful sins
All his Colleens in Killarney
He was Jack the lad way back then
Before he married Fanny Carney

They’re staying at O’Flanagan’s
Where the brekky is a good ‘un
Sausage, bacon, egg and beans
Mushrooms and black pudding

The festival gets underway
The excitement’s at high pitch
Sixty thousand hopeful punters
Dreaming of getting rich

Paddy pulls out a monkey
‘On the nose’ at three to one
Come on my son, come on, come on!
****! there it was....all gone

It couldn’t have been much closer
Just beaten by a nose
Ah, what the feck! Paddy cursed
That’s just the way it goes

The Racing Post in one hand
A pint of black stuff in the other
With just one winner at short odds
They’re desperate for another

Day two, four losers on the belt
Mick was two grand down already
“**** or bust in the next” he said
I’ve got a tip off me Uncle Freddie

It turned into the Irish banker
It won by 15 lengths or more
Backed by every man and his dog
Judged by the Cheltenham roar

Thursday was St Patrick’s day
Sausages sizzling on the griddle
Those Irish eyes are smiling
The girls playing on their fiddles

A stag party from County Mayo
Singing foul mouthed Irish ditties
Dressed up as tarts in fancy dress
Tights, blonde wigs and fake titties

In the Guinness grandstand
The Band is playing “Whiskey in the jar”
Mick’s flat out on his arse again
Paddy’s queuing at the bar

They drew a blank on Paddy’s day
But were too drunk to feel the pain
To Van the man’s “I’ll Tell Me Ma”
They were Irish dancing in the rain

A spicy hot Jalapeños Burger
Had poor Mick rushing to the traps
It cut through him like a dose of salts
He almost filled his cacks

Trying to take a midnight shower
He fell through the shower curtain
Squirming on the bathroom floor
His drinking arm was hurting

Paddy never heard a thing
Himself in a Guinness coma
Snoring and a-farting
The drunken man’s aroma

Friday was the Gold Cup
Paddy had winners all the way
He even cracked the place-pot
For a lucrative final day

Mick’s bad luck continued
He’d lost all his overdraft
He subbed Paddy for his ferry fare
Said“ hey mate we’ve had a laugh”

He texted Fanny from the ferry
Said “he had bad news to bring”
I’ll be taking time off work next week
As my right arm is in a sling

The stag do was still going strong
Singing “The Fields Of Athenry “
For sure, for sure they’ll return next year
To drink the pubs of Cheltenham dry

As the ferry pulled into Dublin
Again Mick’s guts were feeling iffy
If the missus sees his bank statement
He’s gonna end up in the Liffey

Big Fanny with her muscles clenched
A rolling pin held in her hand
“Let’s not fall out over a few bob” he said
She replied “ it’s eleven feckin grand”

Michael.... you Feckless Eejit !
We have the bailiff on our trail
Pray to God I’m gonna kill ya
I’ll be much better off in jail

Petemac go prepared to Uttoxeter, it was very cold for my "trip" there and it became very wet too, with no winners to warm me up. Most memorable thing for me was 14 of us doing the Haka on the station platform with some bemused onlookers SurprisedSurprisedSurprisedSurprisedSurprisedSurprisedSurprised

Stewpot I have two big outsiders in mind for Chelters but I don't do bankers lol. I'm looking further ahead to the start of flat in Ireland.......

I can remember Uttoxeter visit too, in the good old days Chelts was three days, & if my memory serves me well Uttoxeter was a two day meeting on the Fri/Sat
we called in on the way back up north, Dickinson got us a winner I think Michael rode it, Des O'Connor was there & had a runner /winner? in the days he fancied having amateur rides
Thats if my memory serves me well 1970 I would guess?

I think the manager is doing great considering the talent he had to work with
Anybody who changes players position's benches others and promotes youth, then earns a big respect tick from me
Will go a lot higher
Tbh we really don't want promotion this season imho squad far too thin ExcitedSadSad

I went to Askham Bryan point to point the other week
A great sight to see the Easterby dynasty in attendance
