I kind of ribbed Hale-Bopp yesterday about still facing a pretty heavy gap to the summit after his 7/1 strike. The laugh's on me today after he struck again with a fantasticolious 16/1 on Plumette.  Of course he's still in second, but the gap is now down to less than five squidlies. Hmmm, interesting times!

Another chunky score came from our esteemed naps comp chronicler undecided, Gwencily Berbas  at 13/2 pushing him up to 14th.

Elsewhere, an 11/10 edged Bumpertojumper up to 10th   while Sammy The Bull in fourth bagged another odds-on.
