Just the one score, which made a difference. Sadly there was also a near miss that would also have stirred the pot: the hulk's pick in the last was pipped at the post by a 28/1 shot! Them's the breaks.
More on that shortly. First a big, huge, humungous well done to our last champion of 2022, Bumpertojumper. He sports one of the month's lowest strike rates of 10%, but when that's a 20/1 on day two and a 25/1 a week later, who cares? Made for life after that. Absolutely luvvit!
One of our newest entrants CagliariG wasn't able to post in time today, but that wasn't much to fuss about as he was pretty happily esconced in second and that's where he ended. He had a very contrasting strike rate of 46%, highlighted by a mid-month 6/1.
We have a similar low-high strike rate contrast with the next two: Hale-Bopp happily in third with just a 9% rate, effectively courtesy of a 28/1 ten days ago, while ROVING REPORTER booked his passage upstairs with today's only winner, an 11/10 that pushed him up to fourth on the back of a 50% strike rate. 
That was real bad news for hulky, even though there was an extra promotion place this month.
The contrast is not too different with the final two transportees: Value-Seeker in fifth, a latecomer with yesterday's 11/1 and an overall 24% rate, against old applejack's regular rate of 60%, largely shorties, that got him to sixth.
Highest strike rate? Who else but dukeofpuke on 72%. Life can be so unfair!
Hard luck everyone else but it was great to see you all locked in battle and I hope the New Year reinvigorates you for another challenge. It's a very up-and-down game this napping!
