Not sure I will deliver good news Roy but coming over for Yarmouths opening meeting,I pray that I can give something positive regarding Skinto.

Thanks V--There has been a few in house job changes,over the last couple of years---one is I now do the cooking and Pat does the washing up--afraid Pat is not safe to go anywhere near the hob's,and lifting pot's with food or liquid in them.

A word also for TheNorfolkMafia who was building a good lead before he stopped posting just after Christmas. Hope all's well.

I have posted the result on Pat's family "The Rave Winkle Club" on Facebook--they expect this sort of thing from Pat,--married three times, each time the marriage hit a bad period,Pat sorted the problem out by packing her suitcases and leaving the house, to start up again on her own, which also involved running two B&B one in Tal-y- Bont near Conwy and one in Hunstanton Norfolk--both for ten years--Pat was born in 1930---her mum getting pregnant by the lord of the manor's son--lost her job, husband left home, had two children already so Pat was sent to Dr. Bernardo's --Pat looked for her family, on all the official channels with no joy, then when Pat was about 65, her local vicar asked her where she was born, told him the name of the hospital in Bedford--two weeks later he gave her a piece of paper,and said ring that number and you will talk to your brother--she had 4 sisters and two brothers all alive, her mother had died two years earlier.--an amazing women !!

Great victory and story Pat, very well done, you were relentless in banging in the winners. Commiserations Pat's Plaything, though somehow I'm sure you don't mind! Many thanks again George for organising this competition in such an efficient and timely manner. Without your time and effort the competition would probably have stopped running years ago. All the best for the Summer everyone and roll on the Craven meeting.

Good morning

I bring you sad news---our current 2022/2023 champion (Pat) passed away shortly before 4.00 am yesterday morning aged 93 ---she looked forward each day to making her selections--mainly going by the jockey's(Luke Morris was a favourite of her's) and trainers--- all I would do is cross off in her newspaper--Non runners--and any listed at more than 20/1.
