A pretty disappointing final day, with just the one winner. And that was a bit of a hard luck story, with Moose earning 13/2 on Mercurius Power
but missing out on fifth by less than a quid. It's not much of a consolation that he claims the month's highest strike rate of 50%.
So the big plaudits go to newcomer nawshan, who got off to a hot start and ended the month with two 11/1s. Only a 24% strike rate but all high quality selections.
In fact none of the promoted five made it over the 30% strike rate bar. bluenose7 stuck on for second with just five solid wins, the first of which at 16/1 set the tone. Dublo Seven in third had just six, the best an opening 9/1.
After being winless for almost two weeks, qqking suddenly produced a flurry of solid scores to grab fourth, bagging three in four towards the end,
while a hat-trick of wins topped by a 10/1 at the start of the month got NonVintage going on the road to fifth. 
Although he struggled for form in the second half, he was saved by an 11/2 yesterday.
Hard luck to everyone else but without you all it wouldn't have been any fun at all so thanks for taking part. Hope you all feel up to taking the challenge in October. And thanks as usual for all your messages.
