We have a new leader with yet another bonkerooni! Longshot Louie came up with one of his regular big hitters to zoom to the summit, Thaleeq at a splendiferous 20/1! That puts him over the £20 mark and pretty fair set for a bump upstairs. Splendidlio!

And just look at that: top four all over £10 profit!

Just the one other winner: Aquarius with a 5/2 nudging him up to seventh.

* A sad postscript as I read elsewhere of the passing of pumphol, a veteran of this competition who lingered in this division for a while before ascending to greater things. Now he has ascended to the greatest thing, whatever that is, after last posting - a winner - on Wednesday. He was not only a great napster but a true gent and will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family.
