Well deserved. Congratulations.

A monthly competition turned into a two-day competition. Wish I hadn't bothered spending quite so much time on today's selection! Amazing two selections, and a big bonus that neither of them were punted which can be a bug bear in this competition. Two days that will take a bit of replicating. Congratulations to invicta and good luck to you and everyone else who got promoted.

For those left behind it took me a couple of months to understand that there is no such thing as a bad winner.

What a way to win a championship! A 14/1 three days ago, a 25/1 sledgehammer yesterday followed by an 18/1 final-day stunner in the shape of The Nu Form Way  to clinch it, as if it really needed clinching.   That's something of a massive explosion after toiling fruitlessly for the previous part of the month. So invicta ends up with a humungous £35 profit for the month. Massive congratulations. 

differentdrum's no slouch either, with four in five up to today and 50% overall strike rate to secure second. His highlight was a 12/1 five days ago.

NonVintage took a well-deserved third with a fair sprinkling of good winners, the best a 10/1 on day seven.

Poppydog guaranteed fourth with a hat-trick odds-on today, having racked up the month's highest strike rate, a pretty awesome 64%.   And fifth was also sealed by airto today with an evens.   Billyant!

Hard luck to the also-rans - today's only winners were among the top five. But as always, ya gotta be in it to win it and being in it makes it a worthy competition, so thanks to everyone who took part. I hope to see you all refreshed for another fun month in August. And thanks as usual for all your messages.
