ROVING REPORTER was today's hero, with Mr Wagyu at 5/1 springing him up to sixth.

A 7/4 left Poppydog up in ninth,

an 11/10 had panglima scampering up to fourth,

while an odds-on put second-placed differentdrum a few pennies nearer our leader.
