The Rules:
The competition will cover 35 or so of the most competitive races of the Flat season.
A thread on which selections can be posted will be put up a couple of days before the race and selections can be made up to 1/2hr before race time.
Players are given 2 stake points per race.
Players can use the 2pts on 1 selection or share the 2pts between 2 selections, 1pt each.
Points will be awarded based on each selections finishing position down to 5th place.
Results will be settled at SP.
1st place will get stake x 15 x SP
2nd place will get stake x 7 x SP
3rd place will get stake x 4 x SP
4th place will get stake x 2 x SP
and 5th place will get stake x 1 x SP
Non-runners:
If you choose one selection, please nominate a reserve just in case of late withdrawal.
If you choose two selections and one is a non-runner, your 2pts will go on the remaining selection, unless you left a reserve.
In either case you can replace a non-runner as normal up to the 1/2hr cut-off time.
If you make a selection with no reserve, and it doesn't run, your 2pts will go on the favourite (in case of jt or co favs then the 2pts will go on the one which is highest in the hcap)
In the event of dispute, my decision will be final.
Anyone welcome to join at any time.

I'll wait and see if nearly all the regulars post and perhaps give 2pts the fav to the rest?
Thanks for the thought. Only just got back in. I am sure it would have amused some had it been 2.46.
Seriously, is there any other option should the forum be down? There is an email outlet for the naps competition.

Anyone who hasn't posted will get 2pts on the fav.
Hope that's fair given the access problems today.

I don't know if you are accepting late poostings due to the shambles this morning, if so can I have
Rajinsky
Arcadian Sunshine

If not acceptable I will obviously revert to 2 points on the favourite as per the 2.45 post

Aquarius - I find it tricky deciding sometimes
but I'm going to keep the cut-off time in place and you will go on the fav.

Race 4 results and points allocations:
1. Cleveland 6/1 x 15pts x stake
2. Coltrane 9/2 x 7pts x stake
3. Rajinsky 6/1 x 4pts x stake
4. Arcadian Sunrise 6/1 x 2pts x stake
5. Falcon Eight 9/2 x 1pts x stake
Forum outage put a spanner in the works.
I decided that as the vast majority did manage to post, the race will stand, but anyone not posting gets 2pts on the fav. (That's anyone who has taken part in any of the previous 3 rounds).
There were joint favs, so as per rules it's the one highest in the hcap that is chosen - Falcon Eight.
Very well done to motseel, la mallatiere and DeSSieReborn for getting the winner!
