What a great month for our champion halcyon days. Not only does he bag top prize with the month's highest strike rate - by far - of 46% but it includes a fantastic mid-month 7/1 and 18/1 on the bounce! Small wonder he put more than £34 into his piggy bank as a result. Bwillyant!
There was little likelihood of him being caught today but our old naps comp hero Shanelee1966 did the next best thing and swooped into second with a last-day bangerooni, Secret Glow at 10/1, the day's only score. He too is the proud owner of the same mid-month 18/1. Went a bit quiet after that, lobbing in a sole 5/1 until today's hammer blow. Superbulous.
Taking bronze is the ever-patient bluebook, a mid-month 17/2 his highlight. Soopah stuff.
We have a bumper number going up this month so our top three are joined by: NonVintage, a magnificent 12/1 being his top score; my East Anglian chum suffolkpunch (top score 8/1); and FatPunt, who sneaked in thanks to a non-runner today, which makes Fortismere the days hard luck story.
Hard luck everyone else but I hope you had some fun and come back refreshed for April's set-to. And thanks for your kind messages.
