1st prize £50 free bets - undecided
2nd place £25 free bets and a limited edition BF merchandise package. - scrabbler
3rd £10 free bets - Hilly
*I've already recieved a merchandise pack so the runner-up will get it.
Thank you for the wonderful turn-out, about double the average of last few years.
I can go to Betfair with that and ask them for some more prizes for Aintree.
I appreciate all your support and kind comments, chuffed to bits to get on the roll of honour of Cheltenham BMC Champions.
Excellent scoring with 20 finishing the week on a plus.
Unlucky scrabbler, 93pts would comfortably win most years.
Great score from Hilly for 3rd very well done!
The two longer odds winners today were missed by all, top scorer was TheNorfolkMafia who had a treble with Vauban, Billaway and Elimay, and finished all four days on a plus.
I'll just give some time for any stewards on the final table and then pass on the names of the prize winners to Betfair.
By the way, anyone fancy taking part in my Team Tipster Competition? You are only required to post one win or ew selection per week for your team and the comp runs until Royal Ascot. 4 spaces available.

A very worthy and deserved winner for all the effort undecided puts in running the various competitions. Without wanting to be negative, the prize money given by Betfair (effectively Flutter Entertainment with a balance sheet value of £19,257 million) could be considered to be a bit of an insult when ITV were giving £500,000 today in their ITV7 competition and had given other 6 figure prizes earlier in the week. The £500,000 in fact appears to have been won today with 12 entrants getting all 7 winners and the winning distance of the final winner of a neck being the tie break; the two runners up had 1/2 length. £85 in prize money from Betfair!, as Chris Sutton would say "You're better than that"
With the number of entrants this year compared to previous years you would think that extra business genereated would have generated considerably more than £85 to the company.
So once more congratulations to undecided and the other prize winners and all the others with returns of over £20, very impressive performances by you all.

UL scrabby
Superb organisation
Superb tipping
Put us all on the backfoot after that second day rocket
GL getting a positive response from BF for future comps
I doubt even UD could have coped with an itv7 entrants list of over 250k people Aquarius
They weren't gonna come in chucking fortunes about based on a unknown total
Lets see how it progresses

Excellent stuff ud, not only your winning score, but tireless in running multiple comps, very well deserved
Unlucky scrabbler, how can +£93 not win, amazing effort.
Beat my winning score from years gone by so happy with that.

I wasn't suggesting a prize fund of £500,000 but I would have thought, on the basis that seems to be the only competition they have funded, another nothing on to each of the prizes would have been a nice gesture and might have the effect of getting more people contributing to the forums which based on their recent survey, you got the impression that maybe was what they were trying to achieve. If you look at the costs they would have incurred if one of their employees had done the admin for the competition that would have been an awful lot more than £85 and almost certainly it would not have been conducted in such a friendly and effecient manner as it was as usual by undecided.
Well done undecided your nearly good enough to join TOFTL.
Think we all agree on the point Aqua
They haven't funded anything for years since the days of a BCM
They weren't to know how many would turn up
AS UD says the turnout was up from normal comp
Small acorns and all that
Its a start and hopefully the levels go up and become a feature of the forum
If UD can handle it
From what i seen from the survey it could end up going twitteresque which i don't think would be a good idea
Thats another day

A thoroughly deserved winner, very well done Undecided, you deserve to win just for the time and effort you put in to running all these comps, commiserations to scrabbler for a close run 2nd.
Meant to enter this comp but by the time I remembered the 1st race was off.

congrats to top 3 great scoring, great comp again UD nice for you to win one for all your hard work.
Couldnt have been a more deserving winner for all his effort year round.
Really good points Aquarius/Madhatters.
Purely from the Business/Interest angles, the sponsorship can only be mutually beneficial moving forward.
Promotion of this part of the site needs addressing, certainly from the sportsbook home page etc...,hopefully they will take those survey responses on board, your client base should be paramount,in any business.
I,m not sure who the winner was from the headline, seems a nice geezer.
Well done Scrabbler/Hilly .... Plenty in behind with cracking totals.
Tremendous amount of work and superb organisation UNDECIDED,delighted for you.

A very deserved winner imo
Bad luck scrabbler though.
Maybe with the success of this Bf might be a little more generous though I'll be controversial and say I wouldn't want to see HUGE prizes. That might well put unreasonable pressure on ud or any other organiser.

Great stuff UD. That was a lot of fun, thanks for letting me join in. Hopefully, I'll do better at Aintree.
well deserved UD
again very well run start to finish
again very well run start to finish
Well done Ud. A 50/1 shot deserves to win any comp. A hell of a lot of work to organise & run that with almost instant results. Thank you & see you for Aintree or possibly Ayr
There was meant to be a surprised emoji on the end of my last post
Many thanks for organising, some spectacular big prices which can happen at Chelters, but to put them in a competition...
Very well done undecided and also to scabbler and Hilly for the other podium places.
Should have paid out on first four with all those runners.

Yet again very well run by you Undecided and nice to see you
taking top spot----top man.
taking top spot----top man.
Another one for Aintree maybe, 5k to The Winner sounds good.
scrabbler, Hilly - The free bets should be in your accounts but I notice with mine they went to the sporstbook, which I don't use. I've no idea if I can transfer this to the exchange, I'll have to see.
scrabbler, they are getting in touch with you about getting the merchandise pack to you.

We're really happy to see the engagement you've all had with the Tipster comp; massive thanks to @undecided for taking on this massive task!
