Just checked and we are 3rd. Just the gnarled old veterans,Lampus and I,to pick. I rather pressurised TOFTL into getting a full team together which,to their credit tbf,they have done. Unfortunately one of their newbies kicked off with a 4-1 winner,which as ud has pointed out they hardly needed this round. 2nd still very much in play though.

I think Mafia is right. If we continue to be consistent we could still win this. TOFTL are going to have to slip up a bit admittedly. Cleeeve Hill Mob are behind us despite that 28-1 winner. That's the way the comp works. A 100-1 winner will almost certainly win you a round but it's not much use if you get no other winners in the next couple of rounds.

It has been pointed out ( by a member of our own team who is notorious for not being able to keep his mouth shut ) that DG's winner was actually involved in a dead-heat. Yes I know mine was on Sat. How likely is that ?
