Stewpot I meant the one that won the Sussex stakes mohather I just checked it,both him and sir Percy must have been absolutely top class if the trainer managed to win classics and group one’s.

By:
My first bullet tonight was Bowerman
By:
Unsure if they have gone off.....
By:
Just shuffled about a bit 2 out star harbour possibly would have been 3 rd don’t think he is one to give up on unlike caradoc
By:
Ok Cap't 10/1 it was......
Didn't hear either of ours mentioned then Jimnast lol Ok thats 5 selections today so far 13 pts return scores on the doors -7.67 after 71 bullets ![]() |
By:
Yours 6th, mine 14th Jimnast
![]() |
By:
Sorry I should have said it was 12/1 (not 10s) at the start of my 6.52 post lol
By:
Couple of races at the curragh later in the season for star harbour anybody getting on with sky bet got paid for 6th
By:
2nd bullet of tonight for me Alex D 8.20 Gal its a big price outsider of field but the horse doesn't know that lol
By:
Good luck dessie I must admit I had a little look at that one
By:
Well it ran in accordance with its price......last.
-8.67 after 72 |
By:
Very hard the Galway festival dessie even the non competitive handicaps ,the off meetings are better for punting
By:
I don't think I was fair to Alex D it actually got a good break but then had a coming together with one of the gambles of the race early on, which effectively put them both out of the running. Looks well handicapped to me and could pop up at a nice price for a relatively small yard. Worth watching.
Undeterred, I will be having another go tonight ![]() |
By:
Well here we go again todays ew lucky 15
Surrey mist solid handicap form hollie a big plus Symphony perfect big price well drawn and will be suited by the trip The attorney consistent and ran a cracker in the Bunbury cup Ash tree meadow unexposed of a low weight in an impossible race but can’t resist it very unprofessional Very moderate card at goodwood thank god royal ascot don’t serve this kind of stuff up that’s not including the Sussex stakes, unbelievably I bump into people who think goodwood is on a par with royal ascot,in fact some think it’s better ![]() |
By:
Good luck tonight dessie looks very hard again ,off to listowel in September I find that fixture less impossible.
By:
Hills paying 1st 6 on the oak tree symphony 6th 28/1 punters really never have had it so good ,I know it’s not easy to get on long term but if you can find ways especially at the 4 festivals to get on it really is difficult to lose.
By:
Some very good 'places' Jimnast today
The Attorney deserved better but the winner did let him have first run Liked a few tomorrow Wanees was one but I will save my 3 until Saturday can see 6 already.. ![]() |
By:
Yes looked at wanees a few times this morning stewpots but just came down on the side of migdam as he is sure to get the trip and as yet not convinced about the Britannia form.
Todays each way lucky 15 Migdam impressive at Doncaster despite seeming to find trouble in a 7 runner race Chateau wouldn’t usually go for Windsor castle form over Coventry but can’t have Paul Cole. Novello ran well at royal ascot not had much luck last two runs top jockey on board Sparkling beauty nice run at Newbury this maiden seldom takes much winning Given up on Galway never fancied going impossible racing but not that long ago ballyadam was been talked about in the same breath as appreciate it and ran well in the county hurdle ,but white flag out . |
By:
Not complaining but never was chateau 3 rd
By:
Just one for me today, but I am more optimistic since Mrs Harrington has had a couple of nice winners recently and maybe the stable is coming out of the doldrums. Autumn Evening 5.05 Galway taking on a multitude of Mullins and Elliott horses. Yes thats why I'm no more than optimistic. At least it should be a big ew price.
By:
Ash Tree Meadow got no favours from that loose horse yesterday Jimnast was looking promising for a moment or two........
-4 pts yesterday as I didn't bother so before today we are -12.67 after 76 bullets. I'll update later re today. |
By:
Unfortunately that one hasn't emerged from the doldrums yet
so I'm playing again with dane fete 5.40 galway.Another lovely winner from you there Jimnast!! ![]() |
By:
Cheers dessie it tends to be a poor maiden but the horse did win very easily, this Galway gets worse note to myself don’t even waste time and effort trying to find winners in future.
By:
No show again so I'm deffo gonna be in 1st 3 with fivethousandandtoone 7.45 Sal hopefully to recoup the two no shows losses.
By:
Darn it at least we got a show with my third one, I can say it was unlucky
![]() 7 bullets played, 4.5 pts return. Running total -15.17 after 83 bullets. |
By:
Beware the Goodwood & Galway Galleons certainly carry wealth warnings
Jimnast you are certainly keeping the ship afloat Dessies hope you are out looking for water wings before walking that plank ![]() ![]() |
By:

D 3.25 Chichester 5/1 H 6.20 Tipperary Tiger 5/1 L 7.45 Cafe Sydney 4/1 Last two to get cut the chop Gabrielles Spirit & Hilts thought they were too short my Goodwood fancies are now all half price so didnt bother |

By:

![]() |
By:
An 8/1 winner completes a "Dessie Double" and it means 6 bullets fired today and 15 pts return.
Running total 89 bullets fired -6.17 Onwards and upwards! ![]() |
By:
Excellent days work Dessie so nearly a full house
Mine was a very very poor effort today Surprise Party was certainly a kick I didn't need Nice to see you on the Up ![]() ![]() |
By:
Keeping things on the move today I'll go for
Oneforthegutter 3.30 Chester Baradar 4.10 Galway Three Laws 5.10 Galway Good Luck anyone else who plays ![]() |
By:
Back to normal, no show and finished last despite plum draw and "evidently" market support. Aptly named?
By:
Ah well at least 2nd bullet was a tryer, but used far too much gas trying to get a position from wide draw and didn't end up in a great position. Third bullet a NR so its 2pts down from 2 bullets -8.17 from 91.
By:
Hard lines Dessie
happy to get the ton up this week be only in single digits |
By:
Sorry but the 'Pick a colour racing'
is so much of a distraction cant focus maybe try it Saturday with a different colour ![]() |
