Value-Seeker returned to form with his second winner of the month at the very decent price of 12/1. This meant a jump of eighteen places into fifth place.
alist5 made it three on the trot with a 10/3 shot and improved two places into fourth.
suffolkpunch came next with a 3/1 winner that enhances his prospects of escaping the drop.
GLASGOWCALLING made it four out of the last five with an 11/4 shot and is now handily placed in seventh.
Co-fifth-best were racing green and Imnotmean with two different 7/4 chances. rg improved four in to mid-table and Inm maintained ninth place.
Celeric, SontaranStratagem and Hilly pocketed the proceeds from the even money chance Buzz.
Odds-on winners included salmon spray (8/13), Lampus (1/3), Andrew in Sweden (8/13), Draw1 (4/5), Box Of Frogs (1/3) and Poppydog (1/6).
Hard luck for majorupshotbagley who saw his selection, priced at 17/2, finish in second place beaten a short head.
