The Rules
Each team will play each other once across 7 weekly matches, the week will begin on a Sunday and end on the following Saturday.
Each week, 6 of the teams will be playing each other in their respective matches, and the remaining team will be playing everyone.
Scoring:
A match winner will receive 2 points, or 1pt each in the event of a draw, 0pts for loser.
The "Solo" team will get 1 point for every team they beat that week. So if they top score that will be 6pts (6x1).
Each week, the best scoring team across the 3 matches will receive 2 bonus pts. (Shared if joint or co top scorers). This bonus is not available to the Solo team.
There is a further 1 bonus point available to any team losing their match but scoring 100pts or more.
At the end of the seven weeks, the accumulated points from each match and each Solo week effort plus any high score bonus points will be added up to determine final standings.
If points are tied for any position then higher overall profit will be the decider.
At the end of the 7 week match play-offs, the top 4 teams will advance to the semi-finals.
The top team will play the team finishing 4th, and the runners-up will play the team finishing 3rd.
The semi-finals will be played in week 8, and the winning teams will contest the final in week 9.
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, duplicate selections are not allowed within matches.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish & French racing, selected any day, Sunday through Saturday, the week ends on the last Saturday race. If selection is posted without specifying stake then 10pts win assumed.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted before scheduled race time. On Saturdays there will be a 3pm cut-off for selections, that is you may pick in any race after that but it has to be posted by 3pm.
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or is a duplicate.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.
If you are selecting in a race on Saturday, in the event of a non-runner, you will automatically have 10pts win on the fav in the same race as your selection.
However, you may replace your non-runner with any new selection, provided you do so prior to the race time of the original selection and adhere to the Saturday 3pm cut-off.
If your selection runs after the 3pm Saturday cut-off, and the race in question is abandoned, you will automatically have 10pts Win on the favourite in the next available race at whichever meeting, or in the event of no such races available, it will go on the immediately previous race run.
If there are jt or co-favs then lowest racecard no. is chosen.
If a duplicate selection within a match is not replaced for whatever reason, non-runner replacement rules will apply with 2nd fav being used as necessary if fav is taken by opponents.
Reserve selections are not allowed, nor is posting "just-in-case" selections for team mates that may or may not turn up.
Wildcards are available to cover holiday or other absence and covering for non-runners.
Team captains will be responsible for managing any wildcards required, there are no restrictions on their use, but please try and share them around so that no one individual is always claiming them. Please also name who the wildcard is for when posting.

Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.

As I am of to Ireland early Sunday for a weeks racing I to would like take this chance to thank you undecided for the time and effort you put in to give others some fun,it’s a comp like most on here played in a good spirt well done to all those who took part .
