oops that's a bit too custardy!

A 40/1 winner at the start of the month for custardcream64 meant everybody was playing catch-up from an early stage. And in the end nobody could get anywhere near to catching him up after such a fantastic start. So he is our October champ.


hoof hearted escapes the clutches of relegation with a 100/30 score.

Next best were Kentish Man  and sparkygayle , both securing an 11/8 victory.

Just hitting the post was suffolkpunch with a decent price effort. Not that it would have saved him anyway.

As we appear to be playing by the rules imlac, the last 5 selections today are invalid too as they all came AFTER 10.50 (First race at Carlisle was 11.50)

On the final day each month you can select up to the time of the first race but the 1 hour rule still applies. So today for example you could still select right up to 11.50 as long as you didn’t breach the 1 hour rule.

It's all a bit serious in this division isn't it ?? Supposed to be fun innit ??

I mean, CC basically killed it off in the first week but certain individuals keep picking the shortest oss of the day no matter what. A 73% strike rate for an overall loss ?? Takes some doing that imho.....
