Great pick again on Saturday George

One of the obvious problems on here, besides the obvious one of tipping a winner, is tipping something that remains a price. To do that you almost have to tip something that isn't really fancied. Not easy. I was going to put up Sir Busker (I can already see Oisin taking a pull), but having backed him earlier when he was generally 25/1 look at the price now. Almost halved. Big field, might be on the wrong side, it now isn't worth it, particularly with just 4 places.

My other two options were relatively impressive point winners that have gone to smaller stables. I will go with the first of the two because of the two, I prefer the jock on this one.

By some miracle we appear to be winning at the moment, but likely we will end up being pipped unless that Gosden horse is useless. We could do with it contracting a couple of points so the place points don't matter.

Commiserations china. I think they are forwarding my selections straight to the weighing room. About the only thing I got right was Murphy taking a pull. Reminded me of Bell Rock, in that it had loads of course form, was supported at big odds (25/1-9/1) and then runs the worst race of it's career.

Well done Andrew, your winner nearly got us an unlikely win.

Neither team had scored any points at the start of play, but we had two selections in hand, so fair to say we were in a good position. Despite this, we somehow ended up with three selections in the same massively competitive handicap, two of them on the complete rags of the field. Unbelievable, Jeff.

I was going to make the same point as George about the remaining fixtures. The bad news being we play the Demons next week.

As for the selections it probably isn't best tactics to have three in a big field handicap, but it is not as if we have had a flood of winners at shorter prices. That massively competitive handicap ended up being won very easily by a very well backed horse.

All we can do is keep on battling and hope it turns, preferably as soon as next week.

Just had another look, and if we don't get three wins it will be very difficult. What look to be our two main rivals play each other next week. A draw is unlikely so if we lose our match we will be 3 points behind with two matches left. Even if we win the last two it will be most likely out of our hands.

So despite the Demons running away with it realistically we need to turn them over.
