A fair few had a go on the first day of the month, it being a Sunday n'all, inclduing newcomer The Dragon, who we bid a very warm welcome to. I hope all your selections romp home at massive odds,

although today's obviously forgot to read the script.

The only one with any luck today was our imperturbable settler swift-tuttle, who bagged King's Commander at a hulking 7/1. Nice one swifty.

Did you think of KC when you picked it? Knight, king, wassa difference?

Okay, nice to see you all, but we are down to 19 members now so if anyone is watching who fancies a go, follow our fire-breathing friend and just put down your first nap of the month. We welcome all newcomers with open arms and you never know, you might enjoy it! I think we all do, even when we get relegated (well maybe not always then).

And if any of the present company can think of anyone who might be interested, give 'em a nudge!
