Eye catching debut at ponte. Never got a clear run and nothing was coming from behind that day, finished a close up 3rd despite no room at vital time. Been drifting all day but wont have to be anything special to win this imo |

Each way thieves still in with a real shout, best not count our chickens yet 2 out of their last three will put them in front of us albeit in very difficult races whatever happens its been very good tipping by whole team |

Hi lads,stew has pointed out that my last two selections were put up too late so putting it up here now but won't put it on the selections thread until closer to the off.If the price shortens significantly I may change the bet from ew to win or leave it alone.I have picked Midnight Aurora in the 1350 hrs Ludlow,she is dropping slightly in trip and I think it should suit her.Dan Skelton has raced her from her debut at the age of 5 and is now the owner as of 30th April,I am hoping he is expectant of a bold show.Her best chance imo is to be ridden close to the pace in this,don't want to see her held up in rear.
Currently 13/2 and weak so hope it stays like that,will post again about 10 mins before the off to let you know what I decide. |

To be honest I think the 2 jumps meetings are crap today, I'd rather wait to see the Dante meeting and better flat racing this week, but entirely up to you if you decide to bet, race looks open and has a chance.

Hi scrabbler and lads,it was there scrabbler,round 6 week one thread,unfortunately.Hope I will make up for it next week,down to you guys to build a foundation this week.Provided we can manage a top 3 from now until the end we should be in a good position.Far from done and dusted though so a case of concentrate and consolidate.
Many thanks to the other teams reps who have commented on our thread e.g stewpot,dessie et al who have been kind and get the nature of the compy.Elsewhere we have been called mongrels,fine,we are cobbled together somewhat but a good mongrel will always outlive a purebred,established fact!!!! All tongue in cheek obviously but a dark shadow is cast over the main Forum.Only just realised that the majority of the trolls inhabit opposing teams and are multi user names.Like the great Cassius Clay stated about getting into the opposition minds,we win even before the fight!!! Bear that in mind when observing how inept they are but try and understand their insecurity every time you hammer them. |

Good luck DG. Fancied that one myself. I've decided to delay any tips until later in the day as any selection put up by Hugh Taylor and the like will inevitably be trimmed in price. Of course, if I avoid the all-weather that is less likely.
