Bound to be one Irish raider better handicapped than it ..... but im putting up Langer Dan in the lucky/unlucky last after him laughing at our handicapper last weekend - looked like he had no chance of getting into race at time but unbelievably they only entered him in this race so looks like a few brown envelopes hav been passed around - straight win and b4 victor pipes up when i put up Minella Indo as me nap tomorrow -im heavily involved in him and Champ for Gold Cup

Good morning Humbugs.
smirnoff's post above was inspired, He did spot an attempted coup but,as he feared,the Irish had a better one.
So despite the excellent start given us by this week's birthday boy we are rather struggling again though definitely not last at the moment.
We have one pick left courtesy of hoof hearted. We MAY have a problem though as your ever-vigilant captain has noticed he hasn't posted in the Naps Comp for the last three days. Could be tactical but I rather doubt it. So if anybody has a fancy running after 3.00 could you put it on here NOT the official thread and I will use it if hh hasn't turned up by 2.45. I intend to be around. Tia

Firstly congrats to smirnoff ,his gold cup winner should have ensured a profitable meeting.

My contribution to the Humbugs score has been nothing short of embarrassing so am reluctant to compound my failure ;nevertheless as an eternal optimist I quite like Futuristic in the 18.00 at Wolver and have also noticed Norfolk has napped it in the AW comp.

Difficult to judge the best approach- if I go for a short one the chances are those below us will overtake us having more picks left
