Monte Christo was today's big achiever with Hunters Step  at a very respectable 11/2. He's in the places now at fourth.   (Whenever I see the word Hunter I always think back to the newspaper typo that reported how Ipswich Town's Allan Hunter hurt himself after falling 'on a hard bitch' ). Moving on ...

The great minds think alike department featured Fortismere and Madhatter, both choosing Eamon An Cnoic  to earn 100/30.   That put old forty in second and the tea party candidate ... well, still in the boondocks unfortunately., just that much nearer salvation.
 
And finally, a 15/8 lifted oddball three to eighth   and hulk23 had an odds-on but fell out of the places to sixth.
