Good afternoon Guys

WD Happysandwich, the only points scorer this week from what i can see. Happy

The wheels appear to have come off recently but there's still time to redeem ourselves although thoughts of keeping the title are probably a bit off the mark. Never mind, a bit of funes and even Manchester City lose on occasion Laugh

As Andrew has hinted if we don't win this round the game's probably up. Thus far this week not much on the board, but no good to us if we can't do any better. I can see the consistency of the Each Way Thieves eventually paying dividends.

Anyway, just came on to highlight that with the better meetings being moved to Sunday there won't be much in the way of decent racing on Saturday. So perhaps worth thinking about tomorrow?

4.50 Exeter - Wilderness EW

Unless you want to play guessing games on the Flat it is very difficult to find anything over the next two days.

Anyway enough of the excuses. I wanted to be against both Nicholls' hotpots tomorrow. I would have preferred a go at the bumper, but only 5 runners and no visual evidence of the French form. So pushed towards the first race. It is a pretty shocking race. After her promising bumper debut Kilmington Rose has to be considered very disappointing. For me she is a risky odds on shot. On my reading much more a 4/6 shot than 2/7. Wilderness jumped really badly at Chepstow. If that happens again she will be lucky to be second. If she reproduces the staying on third at Wincanton then she should have every chance. Her Flat form is also more than good enough to give her a shout. Hopefully, the current 7/2 will hold. Seventh time lucky? As ever fingers crossed.

Good luck to everyone else.

For what it's worth the horse I wanted to put up in the last was Deep Inferno. He has changed stables albeit to one that doesn't win bumpers, and is ridden for the first time by Nick Scholfield who is one of those jocks on occasion capable of prompting significant improvement. The quicker ground might also be a plus. The market is currently positive 14/1-8/1, but there remains that doubt that one might be pulled which is one of the reasons I didn't put him up.

Well done Differentdrum and china. Unlucky Shane.

I've taken a chance EW on Freedom Flyer (1.10 Thirsk, currently 15-2), who showed up well for a long way on his debut for Ruth Carr at Wolverhampton in a race won by yesterday's Listed scorer Declaring Love.

He has to prove his effectiveness on quick ground but hopefully being by Invinicible Spirit it won't be an issue. The evidence of the first two races at Thirsk would suggest racing stands' side is no disadvantage, so a draw in 10 is potentially an advantage.

Good luck today.

Bad luck Werbie.

Shame we couldn't get the icing. Ominous late drift on the favourite and ran accordingly. Double whammy as TOFTL tipped the winner.

Still it's easily our best week so far, and at least we go into the second week with a chance.

Decent meeting at Newbury tomorrow. I have backed three, but as far as this competition goes, I am hoping for better later in the week.

Good morning Guys

Unlucky werbie.

As for my own selection, poor choice and poor run. For those that watched, i think we all knew some way out he wasn't going to be winning.

Well done to the points scorers, a massive improvement on recent weeks and all to play for in the 2nd leg of the week. Good luck everyone. Happy

Best not look at the table after Sunday. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong with horses winning who looked as if they would be lucky to be placed, winning on the nod and ridiculous starting prices to boot. They say luck evens out so I am looking forward to a lucky Lucky Pins day this week.

Bad luck custard.

I think Threeunderthrufive will probably win tomorrow unless Heskin ****'s up, but there is no point me putting it up because it will only yield 20-25 points. We are in the last chance saloon and it's got to be twelve points or nothing. So to have a realistic chance it has to be 10/1+ selections and unless anyone has a 100/1 shot it isn't really worth going each-way. We can reassess if someone strikes gold before Saturday. It could be we end up with nothing, but at least we can still give it a go.

Good luck all.
