Dessie even more excellent points
that was close to being a late night coup ![]() at least he gave it every chance we nearly had two in one race again ![]() ![]() |

Nice one Dessie

Got no complaints jockey wise Cap'n from that wide outside draw and the horse a complicated starter he did a brilliant job. Just momentarily inside furlong thought we might have a winner but very glad in the end to get place points.

Well that short list has shrunk to
F 2.45 Demopolis but I was worried the Hand of God could have a say in the outcome U 4.10 Red Rookie for all the footy guys, well 50% of them U 3.35 Golan Fortune but with only 3 chase experience a bit risky so I am off to feed myself to the Wolves ![]() |

By:
good morning dessie yes she does enjoy the irish racing, the debates have been going on since the festival about the amount of irish trained winners there are many factors but one that does not seem to get mentioned is that the jockeys who ride in ireland are in a different league to those who ride over here something we both cottoned on to a few years ago,in fact we were at thurles one day and noticed a young girl had 4 rides which was unusual,we very soon understood why she had 4 rides, and watched her ride winners from then on where the fact a female jockey was riding was built into the price, the uk experts and press were very slow to notice her ,now everybody in racing knows her.
|
|
By:
the quote from ruby walsh yesterday was very good
rachael has everything- but i already knew that |
|
By:
Indeed Jimnast, she is a very talented rider who has earned the right to be on some superb horses.
|
|
By:
As a matter of interest jimnast what % of jump jockeys riding over here are Irish
Why do they a, come over here or b, why do they stay in Ireland |
|
By:
motseel • March 25, 2021 3:48 PM GMT
Mabela 5.25 Sedgefield 5 EW EW THIEVES. |
|
By:
Unlucky today Motseel, looks like the skeltons exhausted themselves yesterday.
|
|
By:
Hard lines motseel you have been on a good run, next 2 weeks will see your return
![]() |
|
By:
I see you have all enjoyed your mini break
![]() sure there will be something out there to finish the week on a high |
|
By:
hello stewpot
not really sure about the percentage over here but there has always been plenty of irish working in uk racing,i should think due to prize money those who stay over there will earn more plus of course family and friends,i must admit i had never really thought about either question before, but i can see the standard of jockeys in irish national hunt racing is on a different planet. |
|
By:
i have had a selection today in the 600 dundalk fallen forest each way ,its a pretty good race which i have got down to 3 ,this one been the biggest price.
good luck this weekend everyone |
