Last night, feastorfamine, Kenny Tw*t, smirnoff2therescue and his cohorts, soldieroffortune and what a surprise, salmon spray and potlessagain, all putting Naps up at a meeting where there wasn't a hope in hell of the meeting taking place!

My proposal :-
Where a meeting is subject to an inspection, any selection made for that meeting will be null and void unless the meeting goes ahead!

You and your like, have turned the Naps competition into a farce!
Each to their own, and they aren’t doing anything incorrect as far as the rules are concerned, but I do find the elite division rather odd at times.
Obviously not tarring everyone with the same brush but it’s often a case of ensuring they stop in the top flight rather than making any serious attempt to win the league.
Like Norfolk says it was highly unlikely Taunton was ever going to go ahead - as a minimum the selections should be treated as a rest day ie the equivalent did not post, as there is plenty of time to make an amended selection once the meeting is abandoned.
Obviously not tarring everyone with the same brush but it’s often a case of ensuring they stop in the top flight rather than making any serious attempt to win the league.
Like Norfolk says it was highly unlikely Taunton was ever going to go ahead - as a minimum the selections should be treated as a rest day ie the equivalent did not post, as there is plenty of time to make an amended selection once the meeting is abandoned.
I've actually picked 3 odds against shots this month and they all lost. If they had all won I would be making a serious effort to win it.
The problem I've got now is that if I was safe in the last couple of days and banged in a 40-1 winner like The Sawyer did last month Norfolk would be calling it a ridiculous fluke and a travesty.
So the only way I can win it is by getting a bit of luck early on and hoping nobody does get a 40-1 shot pop up . I imagine that goes for soldier,Kentish Man,potless and 3 or 4 others. So I would argue that if it is a joke it's more to do with Norfolk than anybody.
