DIVISION 2 SELECTIONS for SUNDAY 31st JANUARY (final day rules apply)

Last day of the month so final day rules in force......

- All selections must be posted prior to the official start time of the first qualifying race of the day (1hr rule still applies).
- No duplicate selections allowed.
- No reserves or unnamed horses allowed.
- No 'Rest Day' allowance: those who don't post will automatically lose a point.
- Once posted, a selection may only be changed if it becomes a non-runner and as long as the above rules are still met.

KC, many thanks for all your input this month, much appreciated as always.

onthehoy was today's salty selector and moved up 2 places into 2nd place with a legendary 7/2 winning nap Cool,

NB was Andrew in Sweden who acquired a foothold on the podium thanks to a 3/1 success.

Elsewhere lux improved into single figures with a 5/2 winner and jimnast gained 3 places in mid-division with a 15/8 nap and

Billposter unfortunately dropped a place despite landing a 5/4 number while,

General Midwinter and dukeofpuke weighed-in with odds-on shots.

Hale-Bopp just missed out with a stonking 50/1 effort. Very UL there.


Well done the winners and the Very Best of Good Luck for tomorrow everybody.

I totally understand today is not an optional posting day, but as Catterick is abandoned what is the position with respect to those that have already posted ? Do we lose a point if a replacement is not given ? What happens to a NR after the deadline ?

Sorry - hadn't realised Catterick abandoned.

I would say that any naps posted before the abandonment should count as a NR and may be replaced subject to the timing rules.
NRs count for no score.

Seems that Catterick was called off about 0800 this morning.

(Just for info Box Of Frogs' nap was emailed at 6.18 yesterday evening.)
