What a worthy champion to see out 2020. Billposter set the stage with a massive 25/1 mid-month, and three other highly respectable scores afterwards sealed the deal. I especially liked the way he hit straight back after being knocked off the top earlier this week with a 100/30. So he ends the month with a profit of just over £20. Fabuloso.
Baz_Man was similarly a highly creditable second with just two wins at 20/1 and 16/1. What more could you want? They left him with a hefty £19 in his bank. Superbulous!
Newcomer onthehoy, a winner today with an 11/4, came a splendid third to bank £14. A mid-month 14/1 was the highlight.
Very well done too to lux in fourth, who climaxed a regular output of winners with a 10/1 two days ago.
Finally, of course, there's our old naps comp hero undecided, he who keeps our egos on the straight and narrow with his monthly stats. A 4% strike rate more than suggests there was only one winner. But that was a stonking 33/1 early on. Bwilliant!
Hard luck everyone else. One man I thought would be going up was hulk23, who ended with the top strike rate of 40%. Sadly, after a flurry of winners early doors, he dried up on the final lap and fell away. And a quick mention for that famous also-ran Reged, who bagged an odds-on today.
That's it. Go off and get blasted as best you might under the circumstances and come back for another onslaught as we sail into 2021. Thanks for all your messages and ...
