PREMIER DIVISION THURSDAY 31st DECEMBER (Final day rules apply)

Final day of the month tomorrow so last day rules in force.....

- All selections must be made prior to the 1st race of the day which is the 12:16 (1hr rule still applies).
- No duplicate selections allowed.
- No reserves or unnamed horses allowed.
- No 'Rest Day' allowance: those who don't post will automatically lose a point.
- Once posted, a selection may only be changed if it becomes a non-runner and as long as the above rules are still met.

The pack closed a little on the leader today.

Best was Moose with a very pleasing 7/1 Cool find to go 3rd.

Runner up was china castle scoring a very nice 5/1 Cool winner to halve khyber kim's lead.

Then we have youresomean notching a 100/30 first place.

As for the rest we have foxy with a 6/4 winner. Well done her.  And Theresa Croude had a 6/5 score. Well done er, that person as well.

Just missing out on significantly reducing his current large deficit was Wonder Boy with a decent price effort.


Division profit for the day = £12.24

11 winners today compared to 8 losers. And some decent prices.

Well done all winners. Good luck with the final push tomorrow.

Thanks imlac and all the organisers really enjoyed rejoining the comps this year and appreciate the effort you all put in especially in these times where we all need a break from reality.

Thanks for 2020's settling imlac.

Two men were walking through the woods and came upon a big black, deep hole.
One man picked up a rock and tossed it into the hole and stood listening for the rock to hit bottom. There was no sound.

He turned to the other guy and said "that must be a deep hole...let's throw a bigger rock in there and listen for it to hit bottom."
The two men found a bigger rock and they lugged it to the hole and dropped it in. They listened for some time and never heard a sound.


Again, they agreed that this must be one really deep hole and maybe they should throw something even bigger into it.
One man spotted a railway sleeper nearby. They picked up the sleeper and grunting and groaning they lugged it to the hole and heaved it in. Still no sound!

Suddenly, a goat came flying out of the woods, running like the wind, and flew past the men and jumped straight into the hole. The men were amazed and could hardly believe what they had seen.

A few moments later, an old farmer came out of the woods and asked the men if they had seen a goat. They told the farmer of the incredible incident they had just witnessed - they had just seen this goat fly out of the woods and leap into the big black hole.
The men asked the farmer if this could have been his goat?

The old farmer said "Naw, that can't be my goat...he was chained to a railway sleeper."
