No duplicate selections are allowed!
It's the end of the month, the perfect time for 'The Committee' to end this debacle once and for all!
TheNorfolkMafia aka SkintofGreatYarmouth (the subtle difference is, you'll never find a competition where TheNorfolkMafia and SkintofGreatYarmouth contest as two competitors!
Norfolk...don't fecking start on me mate! Everybody knows my feelings on it. Posting it all up again on here...why do I need to?
I think all napsters accept quite rightly that the four settlers do a great job and are our 'committee'. They have control of the spreadsheets but they don't appear to want to take responsibilty or action over this farsical issue so what's to do?

1. Any 'individual' napster should be able to pick any horse at any price they want on any given day (with no duplications on the last day). i.e. leave this part as it is...I don't see why you and a few others get so inflamed by people picking shorties? If us other tipsters aren't good enough to get them relegated then that's hardly their fault is it? And, if they want a lottery ticket selection on the last day - so what?!
2. Four of the five napsters that post the same nap for every day of the month except the last one should be removed from the naps table unless, starting from today, the individual takes up the option of posting different naps for each of these 'entities' every day. This is the pathetic part of the Premier Division, nothing to do with what prices any selections are.
There you go Norfolk....happy now?
I would guess not....

There are 30 napsters in the Premier Division. The rules allow the napsters to select any horse running in the UK or Ireland. So it is possible, though unlikely, that all 30 napsters could choose the same horse. The rules of the competition would allow it. On a normal day, you have several napsters selecting the same horse. What you are arguing about is the same person (who is in control of 5 napsters) selecting the same horse for those 5 napsters. It does not confer any advantage to the 5 napsters concerned (to select the same horse). It doesn't give that horse a better chance of winning.
That person keeps those 5 napsters in the Premier because he's a better judge than the ones who get relegated. In September, it came close to the 5 falling into the relegation zone.
Try and get 5 napsters into the Prem from Division 3 - it's open to anyone. I wouldn't fancy the task.

What it does do is allow 5 shots at the last day rather than 1. However I don't know why anybody cares because if one of the 5 names happened to win the comp it would attract no kudos whatsoever.

I largely agree with s-t,but as someone who has been accused (mainly by Norfolk ) of being a boring c*** for picking shorties I must say even I find the approach of this particular napster a bit pointless. I would have thought he might have a go at winning the thing with at least one of his stable.

Think that's open to interpretation, better at what managing to stay up or trying to win a division ?

I would agree with that Norfolk. I think it's accepted that there are two ways of approaching the Premiership,to concentrate on staying in it and to crack on picking like you would in div 3 and go for death or glory. Each to their own imo,as we agreed about something else earlier in the week. I do think Jesus and co bring pointlessness up to a new level but I think it gets too complicated to try to stop him and the Comp isn't meant to be a matter of life and death. THAT's The Team Comp.

swift-tuttle • October 1, 2020 2:09 PM BST Norfolk, If you ever come into Division 1, I will refuse to settle your selections. Why? Because of your rudeness.
Best I stay in DIVISION 2 then!

You might have a point s-t. I invited him to join the Humbugs, partly because he is actually a decent tipster, but also because I thought it was better to have him inside pissing out than vice versa. Unfortunately, being Norfolk,he has introduced the new concept of inside pissing in.

What if there was a prize, would you all still think it was acceptable?
Actually, considering how many aliases 'The Committee' have got between them, probably, Yes!
What a joke!
