Like I wrote in the other thread Chav/Swad/Noc will pretty much win the team it just those 3 if they carry on in this vein

I was looking at Eeh Bah Gum for tomorrow, back in form and does have form on galloping tracks like Donny, good to soft ain't a problem if it stays that going either

Looking at three for tomorrow, fairly sure I'll be putting one of them up, just have to remember that we are an hour in front over here. Local bar has promised to show the England game so off out for a pint or two.

Tuesday follows Monday, December follows November and Chavman puts another winner on the board for the Shrewdies. Grin Lovely work my friend! Your captain loves to see the screw being turned on the other teams early doors and Chavman has done just that.

Don't worry Sontaran, I won't entertain any bids for Chav or any of my team for that matter.  Happy

GL Sontaran & Platinum if you're playing tomorrow? I've not had a look at the cards yet but I feel its time I put a winner on the board for the team. Wouldn't it be nice if all 8 of our selections put points on the board this week. Cool

GL Platinum / Sontaran if you play.

Doncaster 7.4 going stick gd sft / gd in places

Uttoxeter 7.5 going stick  good  (watering)

Laughable really, worth seeing those early times Sontaran, lucky dip with these going reports Cry

Also like one tomorrow, not sure I will be around though, looks competitive at Doncaster all week.

Echo that captain, winner would be nice this end, might have to stick a few outsiders up,these short ones have not produced the goods so far.

Noc Donny is a minefield so I might leave it

Will probably be Thursday now, trying to find a winner to back up the current points scorers

Afternoon everyone, will be putting up one of these three today.

3.15 Althiqa in the 3.15, was 11/2 last night but just looked and only 4/1 now. The only one with 2020 Group placing to her name, her 3rd behind One Master is working out well with that one going on to be second in a Group One and the fourth coming out being placed in a Group 2 and then winning a Group 3. Seven on good to soft seems to be right up her street. its a tough race though but she should be in the three.

2.10 Dakota Gold has given weight away before in these types of Listed Race and seen them off, this is tougher but when he hit form last year he rolled up an impressive sequence of 4 wins and a second including 2 Listed Races at this time of the year. Would probably have preferred soft rather than good to soft but might be there or thereabouts.

1.55 Kempton, it has to be said that Hayley gave Omnivega an awful ride last time in an Ascot Group 2, out with the washing, hit a little traffic and then rode him out hands and heels and should still have been closer than 4th, back on the AW today and back down to a Class 3 has the improving Win O Clock to contend with who is higher rated and also gets the wfa allowance but had Omnivega won that Class 2 as he should of he would have been higher as well. Took 2/1 about this one last night, now only 5/4, has Spencer on board who has won on him before.

1.55 was a Class 2 Handicap last time for Omnivega not a Group 2.

Gl Plat, nice reasoning.

Lads I will also make a selection today, I feel like I have 4 strong fancies which is rare in one day. For the purposes of our comp and then fact we have already backed a winner (ty Chav) and might want to firm our position up a little, I shall use the shortest price one with a very simple chance on paper.

510 Wolves - Silent Queen

I made a diff fred with reasoning but basically a similar run too its last one should see it go very close.

Good luck to Swad and Platinum.

Worried here, having a good week to date 3/3 but haven't posted one as a selection yet...I know what will happen!

GL chaps. Good to read team members views on what they are planning to put up. I think Althiqa will be hard to keep out of the places, Plat.

Sounds like your in good form Tiger.....or should we say you're in "chav" form Grin

Yet another winner for the Shrewdies! Well done, Sir Plat Cool

Noc, you've had a few big priced one's placed and you consider them short one's? Is there a 33/1 shot incoming then? Grin
By:

When: 09 Sep 20 14:16
Cheers lads, went for the one that I'd backed myself, evens but it all goes on the total. Suspected that Dakota Gold would need it a bit softer at 5 furlongs, think it got placed though.

Mine for tomorrow, got a little at 3.7 and the pennies down to 2.34 and 2.26, shorter now but there's a reason for that (I hope)
Rich Dream in the 2.00 at Haydock, a maiden race. Just the one run for Rich Dream to date in the race won by Naval Crown, beaten around 6 lengths but was just getting the hang of things late on and stayed on well to be nearest at the finish. Naval Crown went on to be third in a Group 3 race, the second came out and won a Novices next time out and the third came out and won a Class 4 Handicap next time up, Rich Dream was only three quarters of a length behind the third horse and is sure to improve tomorrow. Hanagan takes over from Tudhope. Barneys Bay is the obvious threat but the only horse to have come out of his race and ran again was given a handicap rating of just 59, BB was 10 lengths in front but even so you wouldnt rate him higher that 74 at best , those coming out of Rich Dreams race are rated 93, 86 and 82. A negative is the stable form.

I think Wightman to back up its comfortable win from last time out at Salisbury, won by 5l in this class last time and looking at the replay with how comfortable it went clear when asked it looks a progressive type on that. De Sousa on board always gives me confidence because he's a no nonsense type and should defiantly keep it simple and if good enough it'll get the job done. There's no way the ground is soft at Haydock? we've had 2 good days so should have dried out somewhat. The only downside is the price at 11/8 which isn't great for points so will check on that tomorrow morning before deciding to post it as the selection or not.
