By:
Wow, fantastic pick, backed it myself as well
![]() Well done bluenose7, now we have to wait for the Pins last pick. |
By:
TOFTL will need 17/2 winner or better to catch us.
By:
Pins just need a place.
By:
What's happening, been watching the rugby and just seen we are in the lead. Well done bluenose. You can always, well maybe not always, at least sometimes, rely on JP McManus to come up with a decent priced winner!
By:
TOFTL failed....
By:
well done team finally we get there cracking pick bluenose.
By:

By:
Well done team, lets see if we can repeat the win in the last round. bluenose had his big priced winner today, it can be someone else's turn next time, so lets get studying.

Cracking selection bluenose
Well played Demons be nice to see a follow up and even things up a bit ![]() ![]() |
By:
I'm going for Ballycrystal today (2.40 MR), trainer in pretty good form
By:
I am going to put Barton Knoll up in the 3.05 each way
Looks a competitive race, stable in good form on the flat, and hopefully Jacob will follow my instructions to hold on to the horse for a bit longer this year. I was around 60 miles away whilst shouting them so he does have an excuse I suppose. |

By:
Trefoil - 2.05 Don.
Galloping flat track, take the lead on ground enjoys. Might take some catching. G/Luck today. ![]() "if you~dig" ![]() |
By:
I will try to play safe as very few opponents have scored much so far this round.
Cedar Hill to win in the 12.32 Kelso is the selection |
By:
Diamond Fort - 1.0 Aint - EW
Both favourites have questions to answer over fences so will try a bit of value. |
By:
Good start to the day, well done mad

By:
Disappointed that it wasn't around 2/1 but at least it won!

Big drifter here
![]() |
By:
There are ac few i'm looking at Tomfre 12.55 Doncaster which has just won and Euchan Glen in the 3.15 Doncaster and Raecius Felix 1.42 Kelso
Each way on Euchan Glen |
By:
I am afraid I have gone again for Elle Est Grande in the 3.27 at Kelso. Last time out it travelled extremely well on the inside and looked at least to me that it was going to win, but then went out like a light. I am assuming that it broke blood vessels and that that problem has been sorted out. Stable in cracking form recently and Peter Coleman claiming 10lbs looks well worth his claim. The horse has been dropped a further 1 lb from its last run

By:
Town Parks 2.07 Hereford : 10pts win @ about 5/2
Second run of season after a good opener. Five of it's six opponents are making their seasonal debut and the other one is probably better at a shorter distance. |
By:
Came back well, might have switched off two out and missed a winner, well done madhatter
![]() |
By:
Cheers ud. Thought it was a spent force 2 out!
By:
Just catching up with what has been going on. Well done madhatter. I think I said before we should probably aim for horses in the 2/1 to 5/1 bracket. I think we have sometimes been trying to go for too big priced selections when a few within that price range is more achievable. Let us see how it all works out.
By:
UD any news for the start of the big race comp presume it will be Cheltenham this weekend.
By:
Hi lockup, yes usual PP and Greatwood double header, I'll put the threads up today.
By:
I've got 3 at Cheltenham i'm looking at 1.40 Fusil Raffles 2.48, 2.50 Dell' Arca 10.5, 3.25 Captain Tom Cat 4.6
And 2 on the AW Lingfield 3.40 Good Effort 3.45 and the last at Wolves 8.30 Smokey 5.7 Fusil Raffles probably has the best chance of the 3 but i like Dell' Arca each way Both the AW have good chances i'll tmoz |

think about it

Weather Front - 2.50 Chelt.
Well Done "Mad" ![]() G/L today. ![]() "if you~dig" ![]() |
By:
As this is the last week of this competition for the autumn, although good news that it is likely to be reconstituted before Cheltenham in March,
I think I will assess the scoreboard after the result of the 2.50 at Cheltenham is known and make my selection at that stage. I think my tactic of trying to pick a big enough priced winner at that stage is unlikely to be successful and it would possibly be better just to have my normal selection, although most of them have not been up to much anyway. But I suppose we might as well try and repeat our success of 2 weeks ago. So good luck everybody today and hopefully you will all be willing to return to the team next time. |

By:
The Paddy Pie - 1.48 Weth - EW
Last throw of the pin, it's been tough going for me to contribute much, but at least we got the one win. Thank you captain and team for your efforts ![]() |
By:
Storm Control - 1.05 Chelt
Never raced beyond 2m4 apart from a 20L win in an Irish PTP. If there are doubts over him staying I suppose an amateur/ cj race is the best option. Has probably the best jock on board and I thought it would be shorter/ fav. Good luck all today |
By:
Commander Lady 3.10 P
By:
Ok i'll follow AQ's idea and see how we do as we have 4 runners before the 3.00pm cut though the 2.50 may make it a bit tight for time
So i have 3 potentials now Dell' Arca is a non runner, 3.25 Captain Tom Cat 4.60,3.40 Good Effort 3.45,8.30 Smokey 5.70 |
By:
Great start for us there by The Sawyer. Well done. Let's have some more like that
