A shame my contributions this round weren't on a couple of the others we'd have had max pts of 12 for the round.

Surprised Acey hasn't showed didn't have enough time to sort out a sub today , I think I'm right in him not posting this week.

Acey posted it on the scores fred rather than selections which explains why I couldn't find it.
I'm pretty sure this will be ok as it was well within time.

Good evening all, just taken a while to catch up and a well done to striding and tugay, pull me up if I missed anybody.Catching up on a weeks worth of everything but hope I have found a worthy candidate for some points.Fitzrovia in the 1810hrs Kempton,Cosgrave is riding like an assassin according to a contact, his words not mine. What he explained was that his attitude was win at all costs and rules be damned, will explain further later.
Anyway, going for 10 pts win on the horse so fingers crossed.

It will be Brother Bennett 2.35 Fontwell,Page Fuller takes the ride, risky one,as I am sure there are short prices horse with good chances. But kicked myself when I like Scrutinised over weekend and chickened out, duly won with said Page

Have done Tinto in 2.40 Doncaster.10pt win. I'd probably have gone Ew on this normally but think may go off at 6/1- 13/2 and looks like we need the pts to catch up, has won a couple of times in October and looked to be coming back to form lto at Kempton and 98 appears a decent mark, goes well on soft, hopeful.

I had a class 5 4yo+ hcp in mind for Enthaar 5 EW (6:15 Chelmsford) but there is a drought of these races at this time.
The field has cut up so the draw shouldn't be an issue, PJ seems to get on well with the horse and is reacquainted. This is a class 4 but is not that different on ratings from last run when denied by a 3yo at Kempton.
Horse has run well at the track each time it's showed up there and won over CD and is 2lb lower than last win in January. A slight concern has been it's tendency to win from a moderate looking last run with a conditions change but I hope the intent is there tonight as it ticks a lot of boxes.
A fly in the ointment away from the fav could be Mick's runner who finally gets a bit of ease from the handicapper and has CP's on tonight, has showed no early zest for Mick so far in it's races but this headgear may well perk it up with Atzeni coming in for the ride, I wouldn't be surprised to see a more prominent position and has some dangerous form in the book, hopefully no rabbit pulled from hat tonight though!

I'm hopeful rather than confident Tangle been waiting ages for Enthaar but it's not really the race I pictured , relieved it didn't win last time when runner up at a big price and conditions are absolutely fine just hope it's on another going night for SCW.

striding, remember u giving Enthaar when it won with PJ, and although I liked it ,I went out, woke up the next morning to see it had won,and I clean forgot to put a bet on

It's the nonners that made me have a go Tangle, drawn in 13 but high draws decimated now.
It doesn't look the strongest Class 4 hopefully so fingers crossed it backs up that last effort it's in it's little window of opportunity hcp mark wise but usually pops up in a class 5 and there are plenty of weak enough 4yo+ races in the coming weeks.
Would give it one more chance if it doesn't do the biz tonight as have not backed it since that Kempton win you were talking about when you missed it but it would be at the conditions I have outlined as optimum only.

Rabbit pulled wd mick.
Enthaar had to use up far too much wide early but I'm not sure I'll bother with it again. When I saw it was 20.0 I wasn't hopeful.

Had a couple today at Wolves a very unexciting price on Frow to go in again for the 4 timer in the 5:00 Wolves think Ray Dawson should get a lovely tow into the race and be too strong for this bunch at the finish.
The other one more of my sort of price is Josiebond for Rebecca Bastiman in the 5:30 heat. The race she won was poor but this horse is relatively unexposed at 7f and very unexposed on the AW. One try at Wolves in a very similar looking contest on ratings over the CD last year saw a placed effort after encountering traffic problems in the run and she is 4lb lower returning here this evening.
Fits this trainers MO pretty well and I think around 15/2 currently with the books is fair enough.
Will go 5 EW
Cheers and GL all today

Branwell was very interesting in the 12:55 on profile for trainer in the type of race on the Rowley but I hate it when they bomb out on heavy ground and it's a ??

Morning chaps, have plumped for Straw Fan Jack in 12.47 Ascot 5pts EW.
One of the Sheila Lewis treble a couple of weeks ago, won well over this distance at Hereford after showing little previously, a tricky race with the jockeys getting 10lbs and less off the backs and Holiday gets nothing, but in form stable and jockey should give us a run for our money I hope.

Cracking effort Stew 1.05 in running sloppy jump 2 out might have cost it a bit of momentum there looked like getting up but winner may have idled a bit till challenged then pulled out more.
Place points though WD

War Glory-3.45 Doncaster 5pts EW. Rated a lot lower on turf than AW but I do recall him bombing home over 7 1/2fs at Lingfield last season, close up 6th lto in C2, hopeful.

Listed winner on the flat in 2019, not as good this year after fair run in the Lincoln but never really had his ground, best runs on good ground, decent debut over hurdles in what looks a good novice, should come on for that and has EW claims at about 10/1 imo.

7:00 Wolves Servo 33/1 had long lay off then shown little on soft ground twice (never placed on turf). Has run well on this surface and run well on tapeta at Newcastle too.
Not too much early pace on cards so hopefully will be ridden up there and still has some sort of ability despite it's issues.
Obviously hail mary material but soem logic in there and it's low class on the AW so fingers crossed.
All in too not interested in place pts now that birdie has flown.
