.

What a weird month! With three days already lost to the Betfair screwup, we then ended up minus nine more days to the great coronavirus lockdown.   Still, you work with what you have.

So a big well done to Longshot Louie for winning the championship. It doesn't take a PhD in maths to see from a strike rate of just under 7% that it was one big winner wot dunnit, a 25/1 two days ago. A super strike.

It was just two consecutive big scores early on, a 7/1 and 14/1, that did it for a super second place for jb54.   In third is one of my favourite napsters, tictacman1, who goes up with four nice winners including a hat-trick topped by an 8/1.   Another favourite veteran, unluckyStu, bags fourth with slightly fewer headliners but more regular scoring.   But the strike-rate champ of the month - almost 43% - is our final transportee, KC's runner Theresa Croude in fifth.

Well done to you all. The achievement is no less because of the straitened circumstances. The only problem is that it will be May at the eartliest before they can enjoy their new status.

In the meantime, enjoy your splendid isolation and keep well!

Well done Longshot Louie

Good luck to all to all us promoted napsters in Div' 2

Thanks for a well run league as always Reged

Well Done Longshot Louie and podiumists ...
