A grand way to start the new decade. Best of luck to you all upstairs!

Justin Time's monicker seems quite apt, as it was with just four days to go that he banged home his championship clincher, a fantastic 20/1. That wasn't his only winner of course: his other four included a 10/1. A great effort leaving him a hefty £21 in profit. Very well done!

New entrant Box Of Frogs, one of our box set you might say, got quickly off the mark, bagging second on his first outing. A 7/1 early in the month was his best score.

Then we have Mrs shane, commonly known as Nijinsky, also making a speedy impression and showing up her old man into the bargain (you can just spot him in the middle of the pack). Just four scores were enough, all in the first half and topped by a 10/1 in week one.

It's (relative) newbies agogo this month. Both remaining promotees are recenly joined/rejoined. lockup in fourth stands out with the month's highest strike rate of nearly 35%,   while jb54 also goes through on a low strike rate, the highlight being an 8/1 at the start.   Congrats to you all and the best of luck in your new home.

Hard luck story of the day, kind of, came from the day's only winner caulkhead. Royal Dynasty at 13/2 left him just over £2.50 short of snatching fifth.   Next month eh caulky?

Thanks to everyone for taking part and keeping this competition in such rude health. Doesn't mean we don't want to see new faces. Please encourage anyone you know to have a go.

And many thanks for the kind messages.

Well done Justin Time good luck in div'1 to you and all the other promoted napsters

Thanks  for a well run league as always Reged
