These early finishes always come as a bit of a surprise at this time of year.
We have a new leader - motseel took the lead with a smashing 5/1 shot overtaking the previous top placed man halcyon days who himself scored with a 7/4 chance. 0.88 is the difference now so it still could go either way.
It's fair to say that this month's comp hasn't really taken off yet. the positives normally go down to about 13th but it's only 7th at present. A fair way to go though.
madrigal is in good form and a 4/6 winner was found today to continue that.
