Last day of the month so final day rules in force......

- All selections must be posted by the official start time of the first qualifying race of the day (1hr rule still applies).
- No duplicate selections allowed.
- No reserves or unnamed horses allowed.
- No 'Rest Day' allowance: those who don't post will automatically lose a point.
- Once posted, a selection may only be changed if it becomes a non-runner and as long as the above rules are still met.

***** Cutoff time is therefore 1.50pm *****

SilverBuck1 was the star of the show today, napping a superb 9/1 chance. This lifted him 14 places into 6th place right into the mix for 5th place.

I'm afraid I was out and didn't get around to posting the mailed in selections until later in the afternoon. I realize you wanted a tactical opportunity to see how Jesus's nap fared before deciding whether to place a nap yourself.
I'm not sure whether to apologize for that - these mailed in selections do pose some problems at times.
Anyhow, sorry for what it's worth but, during the working week, this will be the norm for me now because I'm unable to access my personal mails from work now.
So note to all, take note for tomorrow, if you mail a selection in, it may be an invalid selection if it is a duplicate. The time of the post is irrelevant in that respect although of course it does have to comply with the rules itself.
