It's as you were, with just the one winner today not affecting the identities of the five transportees.

So a massive congratulations to our resident strongman DFCIRONMAN, who ascends with a profit of £24 on just a 12.9% strike rate. You can guess that he made just a few hits, but they were deadly: four in fact - 14/1, 10/1, 7/1 and 20/1. Phew! That's the way to do it. Very well done DFC; you will be missed.

In second is another favourite of mine, competition stalwart general custer, who not surprisingly sports the highest strike rate of the month, 46%. Little and often has been his hallmark, although it took a humdinger 12/1 to push him over the line to second. Happy but sorry to see you go to make your last stand elsewhere.

Well done too to de44ek4 in third, another long-time competitor who also ascends with a low strike rate of 12%. He had just three scores, but they were 12/1, 6/1 and 16/1! Doesn't get much better.

In fourth is our only winner of the day, lockup. Good to see a relative newcomer prosper. He had the second highest strike rate of 44.4%, rounded off today by a 5/2.   And finally there's halcyon days with several decent strikes, topped by an 8/1.

I hope you all prosper upstairs. Hard luck to everyone else but it was a good month only made possible by your participation. I really hope you come back refreshed for a new battle in September. And thanks as usual for your messages.
