A good day for my lucky pin, as 66-1 poke Excellent Times just got up in time for a shock win.
It hasn't taken Lampus long to rediscover his Glorious Goodwood form, banging in two 12-1 winners today (Living In The Past & What's The Story).
Knight Commander landed a treble courtesy of Mums Tipple (7-2), Enable (1-4) and Search For A Song (3-1).
Sparkygayle had another profitable day thanks to having 2pts on Search For A Song, and remains in the top 3 after day 2.

posy, she was 'only' 25-1 on the RP forecast, had placed twice from 3 starts at York previously, and had run well this season at Ripon behind one who went on to be Listed-placed. So while it was a ferociously competitive handicap and others had more unexposed / appealing profiles, she wasn't exactly a no-hoper, so I'd say the BFSP was just freakish, rather than being a realistic assessment of her chance.
